Earthy Showit Website Revamp for California Wedding Photographer

Introducing the new and improved Gretchen Jones Photo. Working with Gretchen on this project was so much fun! My gal was in dire need of a fresh face for her brand and her website and we landed on what feels just like her.
Gretchen Jones has been a professional wedding photographer for the past 6 years. She is based in Northern CA and is passionate about capturing love & life!
ONE-OF-A-KIND BRANDING
The first phase of our project was revamping Gretchen’s branding. She previously incorporated a lot of destination verbiage into her site as well as her brand and had a focus on travel. Since getting married and becoming a mama, her priorities have shifted and she wanted to focus on serving her local community in California. So we changed her name, softened her color palette, and took a more at-home approach to her site copy. Shoutout to SPC’s branding wizard, Maddie Brooks. She absolutely crushed it on her warm and inviting brand suite that was true to Gretchen’s editing style as well as her personality.
Gretchen wanted a site that was:

When it came to the web design process Gretchen wanted to showcase her works, simplify her site and make it look clean. Before our project, Gretchen had no way of showing off her beautiful wedding photography outside of social media because her blog wasn’t properly set up on her Showit website. We got that done on top of a laundry list of other incredible items on her to-do list for her website. Gretchen walked away with a site that not only encompasses her personality and NEW name but also a hub where her past, present and future clients can get to know her, her process and check out her work all at once.
